Josh Applebaum

President

Originating from the Midwest, Josh obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas. In the spring of 2006, Josh moved to Texas to begin a career in the metals industry with a regional scrap processing facility. Over the course of the next 15 years, he gained extensive experience in the global scrap markets eventually overseeing the regional commercial operations for a large international company. In 2021, Josh started Premier Trading Partners with the mission of utilizing his experience and relationships to add value to US scrap suppliers both big and small.

Steven Bergknoff

Logistics Coordinator

Steven was born in New York and moved to Minnesota when he was two years old.  He graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in communications.  Over the next 20 years, he worked in Sales and Marketing. He worked diligently on building strong and loyal relationships with customers all over the county.  He takes pride in treating every customer like they are his only customer.  He moved to Texas 4 years ago and joined PTP team in November 2021 as the Logistics Coordinator.
